Junior Ice Hockey World Championship 2022 It will be the 46th Junior Ice Hockey World Championship and the 15th hosted by Canada. The championship will take place in Edmonton and Red Deer, Canada. It started on December 26, 2021 and ended prematurely on December 29, 2021 due to the covidu-19 pandemic (the infection gradually appeared in teams in the USA, the Czech Republic and Russia). On December 30, IIHF President Luc Tardif indicated that the continuation of the championship could take place in the summer after the 2022 Ice Hockey World Championships.

February 18, 2022 The IIHF confirms that the Junior Championship will continue in mid-August (August 9 – August 20, 2022)
